Who we are

NORDESO was formed in 2003 and legally registered in 2004 in response to abject the poverty and dehumanizing conditions that rural men and women grapple with in the mist of untapped resources in the Northern Region of Ghana.

What we do

Between 2007 and 2010 NORDESO collaborated and monitored all MDGS oriented projects in all districts in the 5 regions of Northern Ghana.

NORDESO organized stand up and take action public forums to sensitize citizens to demand action from duty bearers towards the achievement of the MDGs by 2015 as undersigned by Ghana. Which was funded by United Nations Millennium Campaign (UNMC).

Our Mission

Mission

To advocate for improve food security and secure acceptable livelihoods for the populace within the target beneficiary communities by specifically : Providing technical and agro inputs services for improved agricultural productivity and agro-processing; Educating and empowering rural women and girls on environmental conservation; Providing quality health and education support services; Advocating for citizens participation in development planning and decision making at the MMDA level and amplifying the voice and rights of People Living with Disability (PWD).
