About NORDESO

The Northern Development Society is a Non-profit making organization based in Tamale in the Northern Region of Ghana. The activities of the NGO include reforestation, farming (Agriculture), offering micro-credits to women groups in the rural areas as well as campaigning for the achievement of the MDGs that world leaders came together in 2000 and signed. The organization was established in 2004 but formally registered with the Register General Department in 2005.Since its establishment; it has 13,000 teak trees and 3,000 mango trees. The organization has also supported 400 farmers for cultivation of soyabeans and groundnuts. It has also supported 200 women in the micro-credits. However, we would be grateful if you could let us partner with your organization in any of these areas in the northern Ghana.

To Improve food security and livelihood of the rural folk within the target beneficiary communities through improved agricultural productivity agro-
processing and environmental management and conservation by offering quality micro-finance and skills development training services as well as the provision of
quality farming inputs to the target beneficiaries in the Northern region.
